Join us for Secret Lunch on Friday, April 21st, as Charlie Buckels explore the many reasons Louisiana should finally abandon the failed jungle primary system. We'll also talk about the upcoming October elections, and known candidates running for the various positions on School Board, Lafayette City and Parish Councils, Legislature, and State Senate. Bailey's will be offering their limited menu selection. Lunch is partially sponsored by Citizens for a New Louisiana, allowing lunch to be at a reduced $15, all inclusive.
Join us for lunch with Carol Ross, as she ruffles feathers like no one else can! Doors open at 11:30, we try to get started at 12:00. Bailey's is offering a limited menu selection for an optional lunch. Donations are welcome because the cost for these lunches actually exceeds the $25 we charge.
Join us for "Secret" Lunch on Friday, February 10th as we hear from Dave Dixon, President of Dredge the Vermilion, Inc. a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to helping local governments identify flooding risks and proposing solutions to reduce this risk. His talk will identify the unintended consequences of past flood water management projects in our watershed. The focus will be on risks in the greater Lafayette area. An overview of the Teche-Vermilion watershed and how it drains to the Gulf of Mexico will be presented and a list of flood mitigation projects will be reviewed including their status. Lunch is $25 at the door. Extra donations are welcome because the cost for these lunches actually exceeds the $25 we charge.
Join us in welcoming Jill Hines, of Health Freedom Louisiana. She frequently writes for our New Louisiana publication, with her most recent being What I Learned at the Fauci Deposition: Fauci is a "Karen". Jill will be telling her story of her many battles against big government overreach and what is the ultimate freedom of choosing to receive, or to not receive, medical care. There may also be other surprises you won't want to miss. Lunch is $25 at the door. Extra donations are welcome because the cost for these lunches actually exceeds the $25 we charge.
