To the Lafayette Public Library and Lafayette City/Parish Council, As a concerned citizen, I feel it is my duty to address the unsettling direction our local government has been carrying this community lately. While the incessant call for one defeated tax election after another has been disheartening, the use of taxpayer funds to promote sexual deviancy to three-year-olds was and still is shocking.
