Tony Spell joins Ronald Reagan Newsmaker Lunch in Lafayette
LAFAYETTE – Rev. Tony Spell of Life Tabernacle Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana will join us for the Ronald Reagan Newsmaker Luncheon at Deano’s Pizza on Bertrand Drive in Lafayette on Tuesday, March 26th.
Rev. Spell’s Life Tabernacle is one of the few churches in America that continued having regular church services throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. Pastor Spell was arrested, jailed, fitted with an ankle bracelet, and ordered not to hold church. However, he never missed a single service during the lockdown! In fact, between him and his grandfather, Bishop Bervick Spell, they have not missed a service in 62 years, more than 3,200 weeks, and 9,500 services!
The event is free, but please order lunch to thank Deano’s for their hospitality.
The Ronald Reagan Newsmaker Luncheon is a project of Woody Jenkins’ Louisiana Republican Assembly. For information, contact Michael Lunsford at 337-873-1221 or [email protected].
