A defamation suit [Amanda Jones] filed against ... the conservative group Citizens for a New Louisiana, was dismissed.

"[Citizens for a New Louisiana] Stacking these boards is, like, antithetical to the democratic process."

I knew about Citizens for a New Louisiana because of what they doing in Lafayette Parish to stop Drag Story Hour.
Citizens for a New Louisiana is a group that has pushed to have books that [are] erotic or sexual removed from the children’s section of libraries.

The mention of signage sounded eerily similar to the display controversy in Lafayette Parish, which was created by Citizens for a New Louisiana.
