I TAKE ISSUE WITH EXISTING LAW WHICH REQUIRES: "a licensed healthcare professional who can adequately and accurately assist with obtaining any necessary information" be in the room. This is a process in which PEOPLE ARE DEPRIVED OF THEIR LIBERTY WITHOUT DUE PROCESS IN ADVANCE. There WILL BE an over reliance on people who don't have the necessary training and experience in this area. We will arrive at a point where ER Techs will be used as healthcare professionals to fulfill the requirements.
